Donation #1: OSU Throw Blanket - Donated by Joyce Shipman

Designed in OSU colors on fleece material with fringe borders displaying  uneven blocks of different OSU symbols of helmets, Brutus’ face, Brutus running with OSU Flag, Big letters showing Ohio State University, OSU, and BUCKEYES. Great for your Family room while watching the game or to travel in your car for that special game! Reverse side is all gray fleece material. Nice size is 48" x 84". Enjoy!

"Fresh Diamonds" pattern used to create this SHS Class of 1969 quilt. Nine yards of black, gold and white fabric used and measures 68" x 76".  Gold print flannel fabric used for the back to add extra warmth. Personalized remembrance label from Kathy sewn in corner.

The Hummingbird wing necklace is Sterling Silver with Turquoise. It is 19 inches long, but it could be shortened. It measures 2.5 inches across by 3.25 inches long.

Donation #11: Sidney Afghan - Donated by Shelley Lott
The Sidney afghan contains full color illustrations of a number of Sidney landmarks, including the Whitby Mansion, Spot Restaurant, Bonnyconnellan Castle, Monumental Building, Shelby County Courthouse, Old Jail, People's Federal Savings & Loan, Wagner Hotel, Big Four Bridge, and Bridgeview (old Central Jr. High School).  Afghan measures 54" x 70".

Next time you want to curl up with a good book or a cup of hot cocoa, wrap yourself up in this beautiful ripple pattern afghan. Sporting black and yellow/gold SHS colors. (Yes, there are other teams with those colors, but we won't talk about them.) It is hand crocheted, approximately 50 X 60 in. Machine wash cold & dry on low. A good item to have on a chilly night.

Ready for framing,  a 11" x 14" Art Print titled "Big Four - Summer" bridge by former Sidney resident and SHS class of '68 graduate, artist Cliff "Iffy" Adams. Cliff lent his original artwork for the creation of prints to be sold, funding Sidney and Shelby County young artist classes & supplies in the name of Mr. R.Cromer (deceased; SHS Art Teacher in the Sixties).

Inspired by her grandmother's pattern, this crocheted afghan has an antique white background with light blue flowers, green leaves and light blue border.  Measures 81 inches by 67 inches and will cover a queen size bed.  Beautiful and warm!


Donation #19: Postcard Images of Shelby County - Donated by Candi Williams

Compilation of more than 450 postcards Shelby County "penny" postcards from over fifty contributors. There are images of  people and places, factories and farming from 1900 to 1950.   Very fascinating book to read!

Sidney High Yellow Jacket Basket with Lid - Made by Miami Valley Basket Co. in Piqua, Ohio.  This special "Sidney" basket is 5.5" in diameter and 5" high. The inside is lined with clear plastic and the lid sports the Sidney High logo on the top.
